Bar Back (Casual)

$18-20/hour (based on experience)

Other benefits: all staff receive % of tipping pool, free staff meals while on shift

Boogie is looking for a Bar Back to keep the bar running smoothly on busy nights. You’ll support the team by keeping everything stocked, clean, and moving fast behind the scenes. It’s a high-energy environment, so you need to be quick, organized, and reliable.

 

Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays.

 

What you’ll do:

• Keep the bar stocked (ice, liquor, beer, wine, glassware)

• Support opening and closing duties

• Wash dishes (bar + kitchen)

• Maintain cleanliness across bar, floor, and washrooms

• Handle garbage and general upkeep

• Support bartenders during service

 

What you bring:

• 1+ year of relevant experience

• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask

• Clear communication and team mindset

• Organized and fast under pressure

• Valid Smart Serve

 

Nice to have:

• Food handling certification
