Head Bartender (Full-Time)

$20-25/hour (based on experience)

Boogie is on the lookout for a Head Bartender to whip their drink service into shape and deliver top-notch service that'll keep customers coming back for more! The ideal candidate will be a master mixologist with a vast arsenal of cocktail crafting skills, a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about all things spirits, cocktails, and wine, and possess the charm and communication skills to make customers feel right at home. Primary Responsibilities:

• Leads day-to-day bar operations.

• Supervise bar staff.

• Responsible for taking orders from and serving food and drinks to customers.

• Provide suggestions for food and drink choices to customers.

• Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.

• Report bar equipment and procedure issues for improvement.

• Create new drinks to add to the menu on an ongoing basis.

 

Qualifications include 3+ years of experience, excellent bartending skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, effective communication skills and smart serve certification.  Nice to have – food handling certification, management and menu engineering experience.
